DAY 0
Thame to Land's End (by van)

The Plan:

16 people, 14 bicycles, plus whole load of tools, food, general kit, all fitting comfortably into the official LEJOG'08 support vehicle and a minibus. Setting off from Thame around 10am for the journey down to the Youth Hostel at Land's End.

The Reality:

All went to plan - fingers crossed that we keep this up! It was a relief though that we were inside a van or minibus today with the wind and rain that was howling round.

Excitement of the day: everyone wearing their LEJOG shirts and jackets for the first time (despite being mistaken for a classic car enthusiasts team at Exeter Services). Runner up: Juanita spotting St Just's answer to Bay Watch running through the village.

Quote of the day: Lucy - "What are we going to do with all this Vaseline?"

Donkeys of the day: Girts and Lucy taking whole journey to Land's End to do an easy Su Doku and getting it wrong.
